Account Manager (NHS) – Birmingham – Hybrid Working (2 days per week in office) - £47kpa plus benefits

An award-winning business operating within the healthcare and public sector market is looking for an Account Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Please note: Proven experience managing NHS client accounts is an essential requirement for this role.

About the Role

As the Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of NHS customer accounts with the goal of increasing revenue retention and growth, identifying opportunities for expansion and building long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining account plans, pipelines and customer engagement strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and account growth.
  • Managing contract renewals and retention initiatives.
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing team on account strategy, new product rollouts and cross-sell campaigns.
  • Supporting client onboarding and product adoption.
  • Using CRM system (HubSpot) to manage account activity and commercial opportunities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar account management, customer success, client relationship management, B2B sales or business development role and must have experience managing NHS client accounts. You will have a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with NHS stakeholders, be commercially minded and be confident using CRM tools to manage account activity and commercial opportunities.

Compensation

The salary on offer is £44,000 - £47,000 per annum and a benefits package which includes a bonus incentive around strategic sales, hybrid working, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, extra day off for your birthday, health insurance, free gym memberships, free cinema tickets etc. Our client also offer ongoing development, career growth opportunities and employee recognition awards.
