Account Manager | Nutraceutical Ingredients | UK (Home-Based)
Loose guide of £55,000 + car allowance + bonus but with a degree of flexibility to attract the right person
This is one of those opportunities that doesn't come around very often.
A small, agile ingredients business with genuine momentum, plenty of innovation in the pipeline and an impressive customer base that's already punching well above its weight. They're well established in nutraceutical ingredients, but what's particularly interesting is where the market is taking them. The lines between nutraceuticals, functional foods and even APIs are becoming increasingly blurred, and they're right in the middle of it.
As they continue to grow, they're looking for an Account Manager to help drive the next phase. You'll inherit existing customer relationships whilst also identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK. It's a role with plenty of autonomy, backed by a close-knit team where decisions happen quickly and everyone's contribution genuinely matters.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who could be a fit?
- Perhaps you're already selling nutraceutical ingredients and want a business with more freedom and a broader product offering.
- Or maybe you're highly technical with experience in formulation, applications or product development, and you've discovered you enjoy the commercial side of the nutra industry.
- Equally, if you're a strong commercial operator who understands nutraceutical ingredients and enjoys learning the science behind what you're selling, we'd love to hear from you.
