The Role: Account Manager (FMCG – POSF Solutions)
As an Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver superior client service. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end project management, strategic relationship-building, and driving business growth.
This role specialises in the account of a leading FMCG client, primarily managing **[Permanent Point of Sale Fixtures (POSF)] solutions. Experience in temporary POS is beneficial but not essential.
Location: Hybrid — HH Global office (London/West Midlands), client/site visits, and homeworking as required.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Delivery
- Receive and interpret client briefs (including specifications and deadlines), then own the full project lifecycle—from start to delivery.
- Develop and propose innovative solutions where possible.
- Create detailed specifications for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contracted obligations (emphasis on SLAs) are met, while preparing presentations and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage supplier deliveries, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Foster and maintain trust with clients by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.

Operational Performance
- Monitor project progress through internal tools and ensure compliance.
- Update decision-makers on progress and provide reporting.
- Optimise invoicing processes and ensure financial compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process innovation.
Business Development
- Proactively seek and convert new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop strategic account growth plans, championing cross-selling across HH Global’s services portfolio.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of revenue-generating prospects.
Commercial & Strategic Excellence
- Manage and report on client budgets and profit and loss (P&L) performance.
- Maximise revenue through data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and benchmark SLAs.
- Proactively gather and act on customer satisfaction metrics to exceed expectations.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Core Capabilities
- Account Management experience in a contracted, SLA/KPI-driven environment.
- Client-facing skills: managing client expectations, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Previous experience in permanent POSF solutions—preferable in FMCG or retail environments.
- Strong sense of problem-solving, with a process-driven, result-oriented mindset.
- Leadership skills with potential to grow into team roles.
- Numerical and commercial acumen to manage budgets and performance.

Operational
- Dynamic multitasking: handling multiple projects with clear prioritisation skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, remaining professional and calm in high-energy settings.
- Approachable and confident in advisory positions (e.g., meetings, presentations).
- Exploration of Microsoft Office/Google Apps is preferred but not essential.
