The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and building long-term strategic relationships. Working closely with our Sales and Delivery teams, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process across your accounts, acting as a trusted partner to both clients and candidates.
Alongside managing existing business, you will identify opportunities to grow accounts, increase hiring activity and maximise client value through outstanding customer service and market expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of key Venquis clients, becoming their trusted recruitment partner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all recruitment activity across your accounts.
- Partner with Delivery Consultants to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently with high-quality candidates.
- Conduct regular client review meetings, providing recruitment updates, market intelligence and strategic hiring advice.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through exceptional service and additional hiring requirements.

Recruitment Management
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple permanent and contract vacancies.
- Coordinate interviews, offer management and onboarding activities.
- Deliver an outstanding recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
- Work closely with internal Delivery teams to ensure quality, speed and consistency across every assignment.
Client Growth & Market Expertise
- Develop an in-depth understanding of each client’s business, hiring plans and transformation objectives.
- Provide market intelligence, salary benchmarking and talent insights to support client decision-making.
- Proactively identify future hiring opportunities and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support contractor extensions, renewals and ongoing account development where applicable.
Performance & Systems
- Maintain accurate records and account activity within Bullhorn CRM.
- Deliver against agreed KPIs, service standards and account objectives.
- Produce regular account performance updates and client reports.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of the Technology & Change recruitment market.

Team Contribution
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery and Leadership teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Share market intelligence and best practice across the business.
- Support marketing initiatives through client success stories, LinkedIn content and networking activities.
- Contribute to Venquis’ collaborative, ambitious and high-performance culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in account management, recruitment or client relationship management.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to developing client partnerships.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience using Bullhorn or another CRM is advantageous.
