Account Manager - Hard FM
Halifax - Hybrid
Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a 2024 + 2025 Sunday Times Best Workplace organisation, working as part of an established commercial team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive outstanding service while identifying opportunities to grow each account. You'll act as the main point of contact for your clients, helping to deliver excellent service, resolve issues, and support long-term partnerships.
This is a great opportunity for someone from an Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Field Sales Manager, Senior Account Manager, FM Account Manager, Facilities Account Manager, Property Services Account Manager, Maintenance Account Manager, National Account Manager or similar within the facilities management industry.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business, sites, operational requirements, and key contacts.
- Act as the primary contact for client queries, providing advice, support, and timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and review quotations, ensuring they meet approval processes and provide suitable options where necessary.
- Hold regular review meetings with clients, discussing service performance, KPIs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out regular client visits to strengthen relationships and provide hands-on support.
- Identifying additional services that would benefit the client.
- Working alongside the business development team to maximise account growth and cross-selling opportunities.

The Person:
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hard facilities management.
- Previous experience managing client accounts or customer relationships.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues effectively.
- Commercial awareness with a track record of identifying growth opportunities.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach.
- Strong relationship builder who communicates confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Committed to delivering high standards of service.
- Must have a driving license and to travel to client visits when necessary.
