About Ogilvy UK

The Role: Account Manager (Integrated, Social-first)

You’ll support large-scale, integrated campaigns for a consumer tech brand on behalf of the WPP inter-agency team, with a primary focus on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Reporting to the Account Director, your role will ensure smooth coordination across brand, influence, content, and paid media to deliver globally impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advocacy:

    • Be the trusted partner for junior/growing clients, delivering updates, problem-solving, and strategic advice.
    • Guarantee campaigns align with client strategy and objectives while championing creative excellence.
  • Commercial & Deliverable Leadership:

    • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Collaborate with the Project Director to project scope, fees, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Set up projects in Wrike & Workday, organise kick-off meetings, and align stakeholders.
  • Operational Execution:

    • Track project performance, identify improvements, and refine delivery approaches.
    • Develop and distribute campaign toolkits, playbooks, influencer briefs, and asset libraries for seamless execution.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

    • Coordinate social-first content, influencer partnerships, brand storytelling, and paid amplification to ensure consistency.
    • Act as a problem-solver, challenger, and process-architect to overcome challenges and push for bold, high-impact solutions.
  • Strategic Contribution:

    • Push teams to exceed “good enough,” ensuring campaigns are bold, platform-native, and culturally resonant.
    • Ensure alignment between creative, strategic, and commercial targets.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Early-to-mid-level account management in a fast-paced agency environment (consumer, technology, or creative industries preferred).
  • Social Media Mastery: Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube—how they shape consumer narratives.
  • Organisation: Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with precision.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Aces at building trust and problem-solving for growing clients.
  • Platform Savviness: Skill at designing content ecosystems, presentations, and campaign documentation.
  • Data & Analysis: Natural curiosity in measuring KPIs, analysing trends, and refining strategies.
