Job Context & Purpose
A vital role in supporting the commercial function in a field-based business development team. The role is to be the key contact for customers to reach out to for support with their accounts, enabling the business development team to focus on building new business, whilst you manage and support our existing customer base.
The Role
This role will be the link between our business development managers and our key customers. You will be commercially minded and enjoy building long-term client partnerships. You will work closely with the customer service team, working together to manage the needs of our key accounts within our MATS and EY Chains.

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers to build trust, rapport and maximise repeat business
- Support the BDMs on pulling together documentation for MAT and EY Chain agreements, ensuring all details are correct.
- Following up warm leads from reports, shows, or inbound calls and make appointments for BDMS with potential customers, helping to build new business.
- Data cleansing both new and existing accounts - such as ensuring contact details are fully up to date, credit limits are applied – working closely with customer services and finance.
- Working with the educationalist within the team to prepare product lists for customers on request such as room set ups
- Managing specific customer price lists alongside customer service, ensuring they are up to date, have obsolete products removed and new added, and pricing is maintained.
- Working with customer services to produce quotes on request for key clients for any specific orders – such as a resources for a new classroom.
- Working with the customer to ensure any terms of agreement are managed and met, on both the part of TTS and the customer, such as scheduling quarterly reviews, sending out agreed samples, arranging training sessions – in line with agreed activity.
- Liaising regularly with your counterpart in customer service to ensure all aspects of the customer needs are met, you are aware of joint approaches/campaigns/promotions and you complement each other’s activity.
This is an office based role and on occasion to support the team you may need to attend events across the UK

- Strong relationship manager.
- Confident in speaking on the phone/teams and contacting customers
- A problem solver – who can quickly and effectively support customers when queries arise.
