Account Manager - Menswear, Womenswear, Childrenswear, Babywear & Homeware
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a highly successful supplier of menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, babywear and homeware, working with some of the UK's leading high street retailers.
In this customer-facing role, you'll be responsible for managing key retail accounts, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring products are delivered seamlessly from initial brief through to final delivery. Working closely with customers' buying and design teams, you'll also collaborate internally with the Senior Account Manager, Managing Director and Design team to deliver commercially successful product ranges.
As this position involves regular face-to-face meetings with key customers, the role will primarily be based in the North East of England, with 1-2 days per week spent at the company's Hertfordshire office.
This role would suit someone with previous Account Management experience within a supplier or retail environment, or a retail Buying background looking to move into an account management position.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
