Account Manager

Accounts Manager

Manchester City Centre | ยฃ50,000 โ€“ ยฃ60,000 | 3 days office / 2 days home

About the Firm

This is a fast-growing accountancy practice based in modern corporate offices in Manchester city centre. The firm boasts an excellent client base approaching 100 limited companies with turnovers up to ยฃ15m, strong retention rates, and a commitment to being paperless, investing heavily in technology rather than merely talking about it.

What truly distinguishes this firm is the nature of its work. While typical year-end compliance tasks are handled, the firm has built and continues to expand a robust base of outsourced finance department clients. These are embedded relationships, characterised by ongoing engagement rather than just annual interactions. If you seek a role offering real variety with clients who view you as a vital part of their business, this is the opportunity for you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
