Junior to Mid-Level Account Manager
Hybrid | Location: Glasgow, Scotland | Type: Full-Time
About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing Microsoft Partner specialising in AI enablement, implementation and agent delivery, helping organisations move from AI experimentation to real, measurable business impact. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Account Manager to join their growing commercial team. This is a hybrid role, balancing account management of existing clients with new business development, and is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships as much as generating opportunities. You will work closely with delivery, enablement and sales teams to ensure a joined-up client experience from first engagement through to long-term partnership and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring strong, ongoing relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, outreach and building relationships with potential clients.
- Understand each client's business goals and challenges, identifying opportunities to expand engagements or introduce new services.
- Support the coordination of client onboarding, project check-ins and renewals, working alongside delivery consultants to ensure projects stay on track.
- Help prepare client-facing materials, proposals and account reviews, and support the sales cycle from initial contact through to close.
- Track account performance, pipeline activity and revenue growth using CRM tools.
- Collaborate closely with sales, delivery and enablement teams to ensure a smooth, consistent client experience throughout the relationship.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
