Location: London/Manchester | Working Format: Hybrid or remote (with occasional office attendance)

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our global Publications & Medical Affairs team, specialising in oncology (with a focus on breast cancer). In this role, you will:
- Partner with global pharmaceutical clients to deliver high-impact publications and medical affairs initiatives.
- Work alongside senior colleagues while mentoring junior team members.
- Thrive in a dynamic, international team that values collaboration, growth, and development.
While oncology experience is advantageous, we prioritise: ✔ Strong publications and/or medical affairs experience ✔ A collaborative mindset ✔ A passion for continuous development in a high-performing environment

Key Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Manage day-to-day delivery of publications and medical affairs projects, ensuring quality, timeline adherence, and budget compliance.
- Collaborate with senior client services (SAM, AD, aCSD, CSD), editorial teams, and subject matter experts to execute complex projects and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with Finance on forecasting and invoicing and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Studio & Digital) for seamless project delivery.
- Lead and co-lead client, author, and faculty engagements, fostering trusted relationships through:
- Proactive communication
- Strategic problem-solving
- Effective project management
- Over time, become a valued advisory partner to clients, offering expert insights, challenge resolutions, and strategic support for their publications and medical affairs goals.
- Report to a Client Services Director, supported by senior leaders while contributing to team and junior colleague development.

Requirements & Qualities
To excel in this role, you should have:
✅ Client services experience in a medical communications agency ✅ Proven ability to manage publications and/or medical affairs programmes across different formats and therapeutic areas ✅ Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines ✅ Excellent client relationship management, including confidence in engaging with clients and external experts ✅ Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities ✅ Sound financial oversight, including budget tracking and forecasting
