Account Manager – ZEISS Lens Care (UK Non-Food Channel)

We’re looking for an Account Manager – Lens Care, UK Non-Food Channel to join us in Birmingham (office-based), serving UK Non-Food, Pureplay and Pharmacy channels, with regular travel to key customers and ZEISS stakeholders across the UK.

As Account Manager – Lens Care, UK Non-Food Channel, you will:

Grow our largest Pureplay customer by creating and executing a clear account strategy using insight from global teams and our UK platform agency partner. Build and model commercial and investment plans in spreadsheets that deliver revenue and profit targets and are compelling for retailers and internal stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, supply chain, global lens care and platform agencies) to ensure activation plans launch on time and in full. Win new distribution in 22 major pharmacy chains and targeted non-food accounts through creative contact strategies and a refined concept sell tailored to Pureplay, Pharmacy and Non-Food retailers. Maintain and develop a strong network of contacts across Pureplay, Pharmacy, Non-Food and Wholesale accounts to build insight, influence and growth opportunities. Create a practical toolkit for wholesaler sales teams so they can effectively sell ZEISS Lens Care to their existing customers on your behalf.

Your Experience

Experience delivering growth in the Amazon account (or similar leading Pureplay platform) for a brand. Proven experience winning new accounts or new business within e-commerce, non-food, pharmacy or related consumer channels. Strong ability to create professional, “smart-look” customer presentations and to model commercial scenarios and financials in spreadsheets. A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to customers and ZEISS locations as required. Role Details

Location & working conditions: Office-based in Birmingham, within the ZEISS Vision Care UK Commercial team. Permanent, full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week. Reporting line: Associate Director – KAM Channel. Regular UK travel to Pureplay, Pharmacy, Non-Food and Wholesale customers as required. Salary information: Competitive salary and bonus package, aligned with experience and market benchmarks. Additional requirements: Right to work in the UK. Valid UK driving licence.
