Account Payments Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Payments Specialist based in the United Kingdom.
As an Account Payments Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and performance of payment operations across a fast-paced digital environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external payment providers, you will monitor payment performance, investigate issues, and help optimize transaction success rates. This position combines analytical thinking with operational excellence, offering the opportunity to improve payment processes and contribute to a seamless customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while working in a modern, innovation-driven, and remote-friendly environment that encourages continuous learning, initiative, and professional growth.
Accountabilities
- Monitor and maintain payment success rates across multiple payment solutions.
- Analyze payment performance and identify opportunities to improve transaction approval rates and overall efficiency.
- Configure and support payment systems to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Process and resolve requests from internal teams related to payment operations.
- Coordinate with external payment providers to investigate issues and support operational improvements.
- Contribute to the optimization and automation of payment-related workflows and operational processes.
- Support ongoing monitoring of payment performance metrics and recommend data-driven improvements.

Requirements
- Experience working with payment systems or payment operations.
- Understanding of the end-to-end payment journey, from payment method selection through successful transaction completion.
- Knowledge of key payment performance metrics, including transaction success rates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
- Ability to work with large datasets and draw actionable insights.
- Experience using ticket management systems such as Jira or Freshdesk.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience reading JSON and understanding API integrations is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered process automation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency payment ecosystems is beneficial.
- Experience using Tableau or similar business intelligence tools is an asset.
- Previous experience within the iGaming industry is desirable.
