Practice Manager | Future Partner

Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Highly Competitive + Bonus + Future Equity Opportunity
Working Pattern: 3 Days Remote | 2 Days Office

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to join a modern, fast-paced and rapidly growing Accountancy Group with three offices across the UK. This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Partners and will play a key role in the firm's continued growth strategy. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 15+ qualified and part-qualified accountants, whilst also managing workflow, performance and delivery from an offshore team.

The firm has built a strong reputation within the Sports, Entertainment, Music, Real Estate and Medical sectors, providing accounting, advisory, tax and business management services to an impressive portfolio of clients.

This opportunity offers a genuine route to Equity Partnership and future share ownership for the right individual.

The Role

  • Reporting directly to the Partners and Senior Leadership Team
  • Managing and developing a team of 15+ qualified and part-qualified accountants
  • Managing offshore accounting teams and ensuring quality control standards are maintained
  • Overseeing workflow, resource planning and team performance
  • Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and client deliverables
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients
  • Supporting practice growth, operational improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Conducting performance reviews, mentoring and staff development
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Driving efficiencies, systems improvements and best practice across the firm
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team growth plans
  • Working closely with the Partners to achieve business objectives and growth targets

About You

  • FCA or FCCA Qualified
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within an Accountancy Practice
  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Senior Manager or Director-level professional
  • Proven experience managing teams of 15+ staff
  • Experience managing offshore teams would be highly advantageous
  • Strong technical accounting and practice management experience
  • Experience reporting directly to Partners, Directors or business owners
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with a passion for developing people and growing businesses
