Accountancy Sales Executive - Reed Business School, Gloucestershire
Annual Salary:
£35,000 - £45,000 (£50k OTE) plus uncapped bonus, extensive rewards & benefits

This is a business development and employer engagement role focused on growing our apprenticeship and commercial accountancy provision and strengthening partnerships with employers.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and delivering end-to-end apprenticeship and training recruitment solutions, from initial engagement through to enrolment. They play a key role in achieving income and learner start targets while ensuring compliance with government funding and awarding body rules, and quality standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead business development activity across B2B and B2C channels, including inbound and outbound sales
- Generate new opportunities and grow employer partnerships within the accountancy sector
- Deliver a full end-to-end apprenticeship and training recruitment service, from initial engagement through to enrolment
- Achieve income and learner start targets to support organisational growth
- Conduct employer Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and support learner onboarding
- Negotiate and prepare contracts, funding agreements, and pricing models
- Undertake a range of sales activities including telesales, networking, social media, and face-to-face meetings
- Maintain accurate records via CRM systems and produce sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate business development performance and insights
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within training, apprenticeships, or accountancy
- A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of the further education (FE) or training landscape, including emerging trends
- Ideally, an understanding of DofE funding rules and apprenticeship frameworks
- Awareness of the accountancy training market (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track performance
- A proactive, results-driven approach with strong organisational skills
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Level 2 or above
