Accountant | Machynlleth | Remote working with occasional office visit | 22.5 hours per week (3 full days or 4 shorter days) | Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (Full Time Equivalent)
Seymour John are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in management accounts to play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and meaningful commercial support to the wider business.
Please note that this is primarily a remote working position; however, there will be occasional requirements to attend the office in Machynlleth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ownership of month-end reporting and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial information
- Producing detailed financial reports, KPIs, and performance analysis using Excel
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Analysing costs, margins, stock, and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities
- Partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
