Accountant
Accountant (Part Qualified) at Link
Salary: £45,036.00 to £56,295.00 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based in Link’s Edinburgh office (with hybrid working and flexible patterns available)

We’re seeking a part-qualified Accountant to provide a high-quality financial and management accounting service across our portfolio of subsidiaries and business units.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a Senior Accountant and the wider team to deliver:
- Financial reporting
- Strategic and business planning
- Budgeting services
- General financial advice
You’ll assist in presenting financial information to budget managers and operate as part of a team dedicated to supporting each portfolio.
Collaborating with Finance Business Partners, Assistant Accountants, Finance Officers, and budget holders, you’ll ensure operational finance alignment while meeting regulatory and departmental objectives.
About You

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Part-qualified in accounting with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and actively studying toward full qualification.
- Proven experience in a financial or management accounting role with the ability to:
- Present financial data to diverse audiences.
- Support financial planning and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills.

Essential Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ensuring positive collaboration with colleagues and external organisations.
- Customer-focused approach, prioritising service excellence.
- Advanced IT proficiency, including:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Familiarity with web-enabled tools and finance software.
