Experienced Accountant / Accounts Senior Practice
A well-regarded accountancy practice in the Scunthorpe area is seeking an Experienced Accountant - Accounts Senior to join its friendly and knowledgeable team. The role involves preparing accounts and providing a comprehensive accounting and advisory service to a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
- Produce corporation tax computations and returns
- Prepare Self-Assessment tax returns
- Respond to client queries and provide clear, practical support
- Assist with the development of trainee team members through on-the-job training
- Review trainee work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure work is completed within required timeframes and to a high standard

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential
- Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive team
