A highly successful and growing accountancy practice based in Okehampton is looking to recruit an Accountant - Farming Sector Clients addition into their team. The firm provides career progression prospects and you will be focused working on farming and other, rurally related sector clients.

Description

You will join the team as an Accountant - Farming Sector Clients addition and you will take on increasing responsibility for the hands on provision of year end accounts preparation, tax and wider services as you develop within this firm and role. You will primarily be acting for agricultural sector clients and other associated rurally related sector clients across, landed estates, holiday lets, property, retail and other clients. You will have opportunity to develop technically and progress, carving a long term career move, as a highly valued addition in this team of experienced accountants with support on offer for those pursuing further qualifications.

Profile

For this Accountant - Farming Sector Clients role you may be AAT qualified, or studying, or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date. Equally, you could be pursuing and studying for ACCA/ACA qualifications. You will have a background working within the accountancy practice sector for an accounting firm of any size. You will have anything from two to three years experience to date, or considerably more, preparing year end accounts, tax etc. You may have direct, recent expertise in agricultural sector accounting providing accounts/tax etc services, or have worked across wider ranging industry sectors but bring a clear, demonstrable link to the sector through family background for instance, with a genuine interest in specialising in this sector. You will be searching for a role where you can progress and will be able to demonstrate the drive to add value and progress in this leading firm and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.
