Overview
About the role:
Aptean is a fast growing yet well-established global software company. We are expanding our Sheffield-based EMEA Finance team to support Aptean’s continued growth in the UK and Europe. This role would suit a part qualified accountant with some experience in an accounting role with an appetite to learn as part of a fast-paced environment with a global outlook.
Duties will involve all aspects of financial and management accounts:
Posting of month end journals (prepayments, accruals etc.). Coding of purchase invoices. Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of reconciling items. Analysis of trends and financial performance data. Responsibility for a portfolio of entities to review and monitor on a monthly basis. Adherence to month end procedures and timescales in order to meet Group reporting commitments. Monitoring of certain entities expense invoices ensure allocation of cash is completed in a timely manner. Support with Group and local Statutory audits. Ad hoc projects as required by management.

About You
In the mid to final stages of ACA or equivalent, although different levels of experience will be considered. Previous experience within a finance team and ide Good working knowledge of MS Excel. Able to organize and prioritise own workload in order to meet deadlines. Adaptable individual with a flexible and positive mindset. Strong teamwork ethic. European language skills would be advantageous.
