Manufacturing Accountant – Bradford – Greenside Site
About The Role
Here at Morrisons, we are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Accountant for one of our biggest sites.
You will support the production of weekly and periodic management reporting for our Bradford – Greenside site, a 400,000 square foot facility where our 1,500-strong team produces 277 fresh food products across 44 production lines. Operating 24/7, we manage six distinct operations in our state-of-the-art building, with 72 vehicles leaving daily loaded with our freshly prepared products.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partnering with site operation managers to drive efficiency and profitability
- Identifying cost savings and opportunities to increase volume for site profitability
- Collaborating with all stakeholders at the Manufacturing site and trading teams
- Preparing weekly and periodic financial reporting, including accruals and prepayments
- Ensuring strong financial controls are in place
- Involvement in strategic projects and Capital Expenditure planning at the site

About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified Accountant, recognised through CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (or qualified by experience)
- Preferred: Experience working as an Accountant in a manufacturing business
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
