Accountant
About the Role Join our friendly and growing UK Investment Accounting Team and kickstart your career by providing vital financial services to an exciting portfolio of clients! We're looking for an Accountant to use your accounting skills to help create, review, and organize important financial statements and reports. As part of our global Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division, you'll be joining a team with a truly international reach, with offices spanning the UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland. You'll work closely with a supportive team to deliver great services that help our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will be valued.
What you’ll do Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all reporting for your allocated client portfolio, and support on larger projects. Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports, working to meet each client's specific needs. Help prepare annual financial statements, following FRS 102 guidelines. Assist with preparing accurate VAT returns, following all relevant rules. Follow established procedures to help meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Participate in client and team meetings, helping to build strong working relationships. Prepare bank reconciliations and help manage payment processing. Help code supplier invoices within our accounting system.

What you’ll bring A degree in Accountancy/Finance or a professional equivalent, or a good understanding of financial/management accounting. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial information clearly. A willingness to focus on delivering solutions within agreed deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Good time management and prioritisation skills. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a desire to learn and contribute to the team. A positive and friendly attitude, with a flexible approach to work and a team-player mentality. Some experience in contributing to reporting using accounting information.
