As a key financial partner to our Marketing and Data teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and ensuring robust financial control. You will take ownership of the department's P&Ls, oversee loyalty scheme reporting, and provide strategic insights that directly influence marketing campaigns and capital expenditure. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders, shape the annual budgeting process, and develop junior talent within the finance team

You will be responsible for:

Period End Procedures - carry out cost reviews with the marketing teams, work closely with our Accounting COE to ensure accurate reporting, Reporting - Update the marketing & data P&Ls and provide variance analysis to measure periodic and YTD performance against Budget Own, maintain and communicate weekly reporting on our Loyalty scheme Stakeholder management - work closely with marketing & data leadership teams on budgeting, forecasting and reviewing of actuals, challenging performance when required Cost Management - Manage and review capital expenditure budget and requests Manage the outturn process with key stakeholders to highlight any risks and opportunities Support the annual budget planning process Ad hoc analysis to aid decision making on potential marketing campaigns Line management and development of Finance Apprentice

About You

Role Specific Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Professional accounting qualification - CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent Knowledge of financial and management accounting Attention to detail An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way Resilience and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment Experience of stakeholder management Experience of having to prioritise to meet deadlines Previous experience of supporting the delivery of finance plans and budgets
