πŸ“ Thame, Oxfordshire (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Salary: Β£50,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00

Ready for a finance role that will genuinely stretch and develop you?

We're looking for an ambitious and resilient Accountant to join our Finance team in Thame. This isn't a role for someone looking for a quiet, predictable position with well-established processes. We're going through a significant period of change across both the business and finance function, creating a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making a real impact.

If you're the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys getting stuck into the detail, isn't afraid of rolling up your sleeves and sees challenge as an opportunity rather than a problem, we'd love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business growth, driving improvements and providing valuable insight to stakeholders across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing month-end balance sheet reporting, reconciliations and reporting submissions within demanding deadlines.
  • Producing monthly actuals, forecasts and budgets, supported by meaningful analysis and commentary.
  • Partnering with commercial stakeholders to support business performance and growth.
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards and financial models that drive decision making.
  • Becoming a key reporting expert within the finance team.
  • Analysing historical performance data and providing recommendations for future improvements.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.
  • Acting as a finance lead on ERP system developments and process improvements.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to improve compliance, efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
