Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of an Interim Part-Qualified Accountant based in Edinburgh, with excellent hybrid & flexible working and a salary of up to £42,000.

The position of Interim Part-Qualified Accountant based in Edinburgh, will report right into the CEO.

- Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Review and approve transactional finance activities, including purchasing, invoicing, and bank payments
- Manage employee expenses, ensuring accurate processing and reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis, investigating variances where required
- Support the year-end audit process, providing reconciliations and responding to audit queries
- Assist with statutory reporting, including VAT returns and other HMRC submissions
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Provide wider support to the finance team, assisting with bookkeeping, process improvements, and ad hoc finance activities as required

On Offer
The Part-Qualified Accountant based in Edinburgh, with excellent hybrid & flexible working and a salary of up to £42,000. The role will start off as a 3-month temporary role, and if both sides agree, it will go permanent.
