Accounting Advisor

Technical Accounting Advisor

Location

This role will be primarily based at our Botanica Ditton Park site. We will relocate to Botanica Ditton Park from January 2027. Until then, the role will be based at our current Farnborough office.

This is a hybrid role—balancing office collaboration (2-3 days per week) and home productivity. Travel may also be required to visit other Siemens office locations to support the business or external audit processes. Due to the UK and Western Europe & Africa region (WEA) coverage, an estimated 20% travel is expected.

About the Role

The Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) department of Siemens, covering the Western Europe and Africa (WEA) region, oversees the books and records of 75 entities across 18 countries.

Within this department, the Revenue Recognition team provides accounting guidance to ensure alignment with:

  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines

You’ll join this team to support Siemens Mobility across North West Europe by fostering strong relationships with key business contacts while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This is a rare opportunity to develop deep technical accounting expertise in a multinational environment, while also contributing to governance in one of Siemens’ largest businesses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
