Accounting Advisor

Technical Accounting Advisor

Location

This role will be primarily based at our Botanica Ditton Park site, with a planned relocation from January 2027. Until then, the role will be based at our current Farnborough office—a hybrid position balancing 2-3 days per week in the office with remote productivity. Occasional visits to other Siemens office locations will be required to support business operations or external audits.

Located in the UK, this role enables you to develop deep technical accounting expertise in a multinational environment, supporting one of Siemens’ largest business units—Siemens Mobility.

About the Role

The Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) department at Siemens oversees the financial records of 75 entities across 18 countries in the Western Europe & Africa (WEA) region. Within this department, the Revenue Recognition team provides technical accounting guidance to ensure Siemens Mobility (North West Europe) accounts comply with:

  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines

The team seeks a Technical Accounting Advisor to:

  • Foster relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Apply Siemens’ guidelines effectively.
  • support Mobility’s accounting functions across WEA.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
