Job Description
Accounting Controls and Reporting (ACR) Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of ACR Entity Reporting activities, supporting Statutory reporting (US GAAP and Local GAAP), and overseeing month-end close activities. They will manage the work of Statutory Accountants, as well as the overall audit and financial statement preparation process.
Job Duties
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the work of the Statutory Accounting team, establishing a high-quality, deadline-driven culture
- Coaching and developing the Statutory Accounting team
- Overseeing the end-to-end Local Statutory Audit process and local accounts statutory filing, ensuring on-time, accurate, and compliant submissions
- Managing implementation and reconciliation of secondary ledgers and local books
- Guiding the EY co-sourcing relationship to ensure partnership and high-quality outputs
- Supporting ad hoc technical accounting expertise and special projects
- Promoting a culture of process management and continuous improvement
- Identifying and mitigating key financial risks
- Assessing, understanding, and managing interdependencies between work streams
- Driving collaboration between stakeholders to resolve issues
- Managing reporting and stakeholder communication
- Overseeing a high-quality, timely month-end close

Knowledge Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting, or business
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience
- Audit and Statutory Accounting experience
- Experience managing teams
- Detailed knowledge of accounting processes
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- US GAAP experience or shared-service environment experience
- Multi-currency consolidation skills, including complex currency transactions and structures
- Previous experience working with an outsourced accounting function
- Experience managing a diverse global team
