We're looking for 2 Accountancy and Finance Apprentices to join us in Bradford.
This opportunity is suitable for a recent Graduate looking to kickstart their accounting career.
Job purpose:
As an Accounting & Finance Apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in our team, handling finance functions for Liberty Global and its partners. This opportunity not only offers hands-on experience but also provides the chance to pursue an ACCA or CIMA qualification through our development program.
What Will You Be Doing...
- Conduct month-end accounting tasks, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform data processing activities such as raising invoices and conducting bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to support team objectives.
We look for people with...
In order to be eligible for this Apprenticeship, you must have the following:
- Recent university graduates (minimum 2:1 or equivalent). We're open to all degrees, as long as you have a passion for finance and accounting. We will also look at predicted grades if you are a final year student, due to complete studies by June 2026.
- 3 x A Levels (or equivalent) grade C or above
- 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 5 or above (including Maths and English)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Fluency in additional European languages, including French, German or Dutch.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Location
This role is based at our Bradford office (BD4) with a hybrid working arrangement including a minimum of 2 days office working and 3 days remote. You may be required to attend the office for extra days at short notice, on occasion.
You must either be a UK citizen or have resided within the UK or EEA for the past three consecutive years, with settled status in the UK.
