Accounting Instructor (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for experienced accounting instructors to help shape how AI understands financial principles. Your expertise will directly influence the accuracy and reliability of AI systems trained on accounting and financial reporting content — work that matters at a global scale.

Organization: Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox)

Type: Hourly Contract

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate accounting questions, explanations, and scenarios used in AI training datasets
  • Assess the accuracy of AI-generated content covering financial statements, bookkeeping, managerial accounting, and internal controls
  • Identify errors, edge cases, misleading explanations, and logical gaps in AI outputs
  • Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the precision and instructional quality of AI responses
  • Work independently and asynchronously, managing your own schedule to meet project milestones

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
  • Strong command of both financial and managerial accounting principles
  • Able to critically evaluate written quantitative reasoning and rule-based logic
  • Comfortable reviewing and assessing structured content at volume
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable

Nice to Have

  • CPA designation or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Hands-on experience with audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting practice
