Accounting Instructor

Accounting Instructor (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for experienced accounting instructors to help train and evaluate AI systems on accounting principles and financial reporting. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and communicates complex accounting concepts — making a real impact on the tools that professionals and students rely on every day.

  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated accounting questions, explanations, and financial reporting content for accuracy and clarity
  • Assess the correctness of concepts including financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
  • Identify errors, edge cases, and misleading or incomplete explanations
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI precision and instructional quality
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
  • Strong command of both financial and managerial accounting principles
  • Able to evaluate written quantitative and rule-based reasoning with a critical eye
  • Comfortable reviewing structured content consistently and at scale
  • Self-motivated and reliable for asynchronous, task-based work
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • CPA designation or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Hands-on experience with audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting roles
