About the Role

For our Great Britain, Ireland and South Africa cluster, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function and help ensure financial excellence across the business. Your Responsibilities
- In close collaboration with the wider Finance team, you will lead, coach and develop a team of two, building capability, driving performance and fostering strong collaboration with colleagues across the business and our international shared service centre.
- Through effective planning and oversight, you will lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
- As the local expert for accounting governance, you will oversee tax and credit management activities, ensuring compliance with local legislation, transfer pricing requirements and Group policies.
- As Compliance Ambassador, you will promote strong financial governance, safeguard accounting integrity and support a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- In partnership with local and international stakeholders, you will contribute to finance projects, coordinate key activities and enable the harmonisation of financial processes across the cluster and in line with regional guidance.
- By understanding operational priorities, you will deliver practical, value-driven financial solutions that support the business and enable informed decision making.

What We Are Looking For

- You have proven experience in accounting together with strong knowledge of tax and financial compliance within an international business environment, supported by a finance or accounting qualification such as CFA, CPA, FA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- You bring strong commercial awareness together with excellent analytical skills and can communicate complex financial information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
- You have experience working across multiple countries, locations and cultures and are confident operating within a matrix organisation.
- You have previous leadership experience, enjoy developing people and build collaborative relationships across teams and functions.
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English and demonstrate a professional, meticulous and collaborative approach to your work.

- This is a full-time, permanent position, initially based in Abingdon before relocating to Reading in 2027, with hybrid working options available.
