The Accounting Manager will provide temporary contract support across the Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations functions during the NetSuite ERP reimplementation, while ensuring continuity of month-end close activities, financial reporting, and compliance deliverables.
This role requires a hands-on accounting professional with strong general ledger expertise, practical NetSuite experience, and the ability to work independently across a broad range of accounting, operational, and project-related activities. - Review fixed assets, lease, and intangible asset continuity schedules and perform related general ledger account analysis, including investigation of unusual balances, fluctuations, reconciling items, and data inconsistencies.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring assigned activities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Ensure financial records adhere to U.S. GAAP accounting standards, SOX controls, and internal accounting policies.
- Support the NetSuite ERP reimplementation by gathering information from Accounting Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, tracking open items, following up on requests, and supporting project deliverables and informed decision-making.

- Provide support across Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations, assisting with accounting activities, process improvement initiatives, and special projects based on business needs, team priorities, and ERP implementation requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
