Accounting Manager
Accounting Manager (x2) – UK Operations, Stellantis Group
As one of a small, focused team of specialist Accounting Managers for the UK operations of Stellantis Group, you will:
- Work closely with Senior Financial Management, advising on a wide range of finance and business topics
- Contribute to the annual UK Financial Statements, aligning with UK Accounting Standards as well as Group standards (IFRS), ensuring reliability, quality, and compliance
- Participate in key initiatives shaping Stellantis’ future, including simplification of legal structures and centralised Accounting processes for the global Group
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Statements
- Manage, control, reconcile, and produce monthly internal reports for:
- Stock
- Profit & Loss
- Balance sheets
- Satisfying Stellantis Group, local management, and legal requirements
- Reconcile inter-group debtors and creditors monthly for accurate financial alignment
- Ensure accurate recording of monthly payroll costs in line with regulations
Annual & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare UK statutory accounts and all required government returns
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring compliance with UK company legislation
Accounting Governance & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact on accounting issues, ensuring departmental understanding and adherence to Stellantis Group accounting standards
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations using OneStream, reporting accurately and within deadlines
- Collaborate with non-UK Accounting departments for shared reconciliations and financial inquiries

System Transitions & Process Improvement
- Support Chief Accounting Officer in system implementation, transformation projects, and legal entity mergers
- Contribute to process improvements, seeking efficiency gains through questioning current methodologies
Requirements
Technical & Accounting Knowledge
- Strong expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP, including:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Revenue recognition, provisions, accruals, fixed assets, and inventory accounting
- Tax obligations and compliance (VAT, corporate tax) experience
- Dealership financial flows and operations understanding
- DMS/Autoline or similar Dealer Management Systems experience preferred
- Proficiency in stock, margins, WIP, and ageing reports
Qualifications & Certifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, gained in:
- A multinational commercial environment or medium-large Accountancy practice
- Experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes and internal controls

Technical Skills
- Fluency in SAP Accounting highly desirable
- Microsoft Office proficiency with automation and Power Platform experience preferred

- Adaptability, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

- Flexible and committed work ethic to ensure timely, error-free completion of tasks
