Role: Accounting Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $20 - $60/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Accountant to work on a contract basis. The role involves maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires accuracy in financial reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities in a timely manner.
- Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and responding to auditor requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is required.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are essential.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is required.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
