Accounts Administrator - Part-Time Role | Rochdale
About the Role
FJA are partnering with a thriving business in Rochdale, seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator for a part-time position within their Finance and Admin department. The role offers:
- Part-time hours: either 3 full days or 4 reduced days (e.g., school hours)
- Growth opportunity for progression into full-time later
This is an ideal role for someone who is keen to learn, motivated, and keen to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Purchase Ledger:
- Trained in full invoicing and Purchase Ledger processes – prior Finance experience advantageous but not essential
- Accuracy & Compliance:
- Check and process invoices with meticulous attention to detail
- Review invoices and query missing information (e.g., PO numbers)
- Resolve supplier queries
- Set up new suppliers on the system
- Assistance to Senior Finance Team:
- Support the Company Accountant with varied accounts duties, including preparing payment runs

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills
Desired Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in Accounts or Purchase Ledger roles
- Previous administrative work in a Finance or related setting
