Site Account and Admin Team Leader – Bristol

Job Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:00pm (35 hrs/week)
- Salary: £32,697 per annum
- Grade: CM30
- Location: 1 Barrow Road, Barton Hill, Bristol, BS5 0DW
About the Role
To lead and coordinate the delivery of accounts and admin services on-site, ensuring:
- Effective team performance
- Accurate financial processing
- High standards of customer service
- Day-to-day leadership support for the site manager
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site administrative and financial activities with the site manager
- Supervise 6 customer service and admin team members
- Ensure Customer Service, Accounts, Administration, and NCS processes are completed accurately and on time
- Oversee financial admin, including:
- Invoicing
- Reconciliations
- Reporting
- Query resolution
- Support wider site operations as needed
- Maintain accurate records and compliance within financial controls
- Act as the primary escalation point for:
- Team queries
- Customer issues
- Admin concerns
- Deliver high-quality customer service
- Identify and resolve any accounting, administrative, or operational issues
- Ensure alignment with company policies, shareholder banks, Bank of England, and Royal Mint standards
- Uphold health and safety standards
- Apply process expertise to troubleshoot operational challenges
- Conduct performance management to maintain:
- High engagement
- Team compliance with procedures
- A consistent service standard
- Support site audits and stocktakes

Requirements
- Demonstrable operational experience as a team leader or supervisor in either:
- A coin or note-processing site
- A production-focused environment comparable to cash management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Operational sovereignty and foresight within a financial or admin context
- Relevant experience in:
- Accounts
- Finance administration
- Office administration
- Customer service savvy
- High computer literancy and numerical aptitude
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
