Accounts Administrator (Part-Time)

Multicare Medical is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Administrator to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting both finance and operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
About The Role
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the delivery of services, repairs, and installations on time, in full, and without error. Working closely with operations, sales, and management, you will help ensure strong financial control and seamless day-to-day processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Xero ledger, including sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
- Raise customer invoices, including deposits and payment applications
- Monitor and manage aged debt, proactively chasing outstanding payments
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and prepare payment runs
- Carry out regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, including reverse charge and zero-rated transactions
- Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
- Ensure all transactions are accurately coded and recorded in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For
- AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office
- Solid experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- A solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to take ownership
