Accounts Administrator
Newtownards | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | £27,000–£30,000
Interviews will take place on Wednesday, 22 July, with the successful candidate expected to commence in early August.
Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit an Accounts Administrator on behalf of a successful and expanding business based in Newtownards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator ready to take the next step in their career. Joining a growing organisation, you'll take ownership of a varied workload and play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day finance function while helping to improve processes as the business continues to grow.

The Role
Reporting into the leadership team, you'll be responsible for a broad range of finance and administrative duties, including:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll processing and employee expenses
- Credit control and supplier reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow monitoring
- Supporting month-end finance activities
- Creating, chasing and processing invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
- Identifying opportunities to streamline finance and operational processes
- Providing general administrative support to the wider business

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
You'll Ideally Have:
- At least one year's experience in an accounts or finance environment
- Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger or Finance Administration role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience using Xero (or similar accounting software)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
