About the Role
Innocean Worldwide UK Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Assistant to join our Finance team based in our Central London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to develop their career in finance within a dynamic, multicultural, and internationally recognised organisation.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance function, working across bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, expense management, supplier administration, and a variety of finance-related projects and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure supplier invoices are matched to purchase orders (POs) and processed daily.
- Respond to supplier and customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Record and reconcile daily bank transactions.
- Assist with monthly supplier payment runs.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation for new supplier onboarding and maintain supplier records.
- Verify supplier bank account details by telephone where required.
- Prepare and submit documentation for internal approvals.
- Collect company card receipts, prepare supporting information, and upload transactions into the accounting system.
- Support project-related financial administration and reporting.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of project management systems.
- Provide ad hoc finance, reporting, and administrative support as required.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance support role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work proactively.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, particularly during month-end close.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Desirable
- An academic background in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
