Role Description
The Accounts and Finance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position five days a week. The person in this role will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately, efficiently and on time, whilst maintaining strong financial controls. The role will manage and develop the finance team, drive accountability and continuous improvement, and support the growth of the business through better processes, systems, automation and team performance.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage, support and develop the transactional staff by mentoring, assisting, training with day to day financial procedures and queries on an on-going basis
- Providing financial information to management and preparing reports
- Oversee all day-to-day finance operations including the sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations and month end processes
- Ensuring Finance systems are used correctly
- Reviewing weekly and monthly stock schedules
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement to the Finance function

Qualifications
- Qualified by experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance
- Previous experience in managing and training the finance teams is essential
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience of working with Sage and Sage X3 is preferred but not essential
