Role Description
The Finance Assistant role is a full-time position responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The role includes processing supplier invoices, managing accounts payable activities, raising sales invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Finance Assistant will reconcile supplier accounts and bank accounts, prepare supplier payment runs, support credit control activities, and respond to finance-related queries from agents via phone and email. The position also involves reviewing and processing staff expenses in line with company policy, providing support across the wider finance team when required, and ensuring financial processes remain accurate, compliant, and delivered within agreed deadlines.

Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when processing financial information and maintaining records.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team.
