Key Responsibilities
- Process day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, expenses and bank payments, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Raise sales invoices, process supplier invoices, assist with payment runs and support credit control activities.
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations while supporting month-end processes and maintaining organised financial records.
- Assist with payroll administration by preparing information relating to salaries, overtime and expenses.
- Build positive relationships across the business, respond to finance queries and identify opportunities to improve processes as the organisation grows.

Experience and Skills
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is naturally organised and wants to develop alongside a growing business. You'll be comfortable managing day-to-day finance tasks, confident communicating with colleagues and keen to improve the way things are done.
Essential
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience gained through employment or formal training.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business.
Desirable
- Experience supporting month-end processes and reconciliations.
- Previous exposure to payroll administration.
- Experience working within a growing or fast-changing organisation.
- A genuine interest in improving finance processes and systems.

What's on offer
- Salary: £30-£34k DOE
- Working pattern: Permanent, hybrid working with a London office base.
