Looking to start your career in finance and want a role that will train and support you? Igne is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our accounts team based in Ross-On-Wye. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or develop their career in finance. Full training and AAT study support are provided.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Supervisor and Group Finance Manager across sales and purchase ledger activities, ensuring the smooth financial operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evision processing — Raising and processing Contract Sales Orders, Applications for Payment, Contract Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Customer & Vendor Setup — Creating new accounts in the finance system
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card expense processing
  • Preparing and issuing statements
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Responding promptly to time-critical emails from clients and colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
