As an Accounts Assistant you'll support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From processing invoices to maintaining accurate records, your work will help the team stay on top of their finances.

Client Details

We are working with our Client to recruit for a Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking for versatility and the chance to take ownership for the day to day finance operations.

Description

  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
  • Maintain and organise accurate financial documentation.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Assist with payroll and expense processing when required.
  • Respond to financial queries from staff and external stakeholders.

Profile

A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Excel.
  • A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
