Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the team within our London office.

Full training will be provided, but the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in an office environment. Some experience within an Accounting or Finance team would be highly advantageous, particularly within an Estate Agency.

Key Responsibilities

Joining our small Client Accounting team, you will deliver an efficient and effective service to Regent’s Clients (Landlords), Tenants, Contractors, and Staff:

  • Uploading of daily transactions from the Bank to the accounts system
  • Raising of Landlord statements
  • Process payments via BACS in a timely manner to ensure client expectations are met
  • Provide consultative support to Landlords and Tenants on all finance-related matters
  • Maintaining client management system (MRI Qube/Aspasia) to ensure all records are accessible and up to date
  • Chase debtors and identifying unallocated funds
  • Paying contractor invoices within 30 days
  • Ensure deposits are protected according to legislation
  • Assisting Landlords with the NRL application process
  • Processing service charges and ground rent to support our Property Management team.

The Role

  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
  • 31 days holiday per year pro-rata
  • Salary range between £30-34k dependent on experience
  • WFH 1 day per week after the initial settling-in period
  • Additional birthday leave
