Accounts Assistant (self-employed for 15-month maternity cover)
Up to £12,000 (equivalent to £30,000 p.a.)
2 days per week office based in Stonehouse, Stroud (flexible)
Working Hours: Monday and Thursday 08:45 to 17:00 (45 mins lunch break) - flexible
Easy to access modern offices in the Stroud, Gloucestershire countryside with plenty of free parking.
About the Job
Working alongside our Finance Officer, you’ll be primarily responsible for payroll, accounts payable, cash allocation and credit control, with particular support required around month end periods.

About You
- Hold AAT Level 2 or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Payfit and Excel/Office suite
- SAP experience would be an advantage, training will be provided
- Driving licence and own transport
- Strong verbal and numerical reasoning ability, along with attention to detail in both words and numbers
- A can-do attitude tempered with a willingness to learn
