About the Role
We're working with an amazing multi-site, PE backed, Events and Hospitality business in the Cotswold's who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant/ Accounts Payable Assistant who is immediately available or can start within the next 2 weeks.
This isn't your typical transactional finance role. You'll join a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together in a beautiful office environment, where you'll have the chance to learn, and be part of an exciting reconciliations and AI system implementation project along side your BAU end to end accounts payable role.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
- Supporting supplier account maintenance and data cleansing
- Assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business
- Helping to improve Accounts Payable processes as the new system is introduced

Ideal Candidate
- Around 3–8 years experience in an Accounts Payable or similar accounts assistant type role
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills in an end to end role
- A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn
Benefits
- Salary: £28k - 33k
- Initial 6 months contract - Can go permanent after 6 months
- Location: Kingham area, Cotswolds (ideal candidate commute is considered)
- On site in office 5 days per week. Flexible start time i.e. 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm etc

About the Project
You'll have the chance to support the new ERP system implementation including assisting with data migration, building internal relationships, and learning how system automates manual processes with AI. The initial project will be reconciling old debit balances and clearing accounts for accurate data to be moved to the new system.
