TV Production Company seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team, to look after the group companies and help with reconciliations. If you are hardworking, dedicated, and willing to put in the work, there are opportunities to progress and convert to a permanent employee. The Accounts Assistant would be a strong communicator who is able to liaise with stakeholders throughout the business.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant
- Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation
- Credit card reconciliations
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Purchase ledger
- Weekly Cashflow report
- Invoices (registration, payment, related queries)
- Preparing Banks Runs via Bacs, SEPA, and International payments
- Preparing and Analysis the creditor report
- Daily posting of all receipts, bank charges, direct debits
- Collection/Deposit of cash from the Bank
- Maintaining the Bank Accounts list of open and closed accounts
- Maintaining the direct debit and other regular postings log
- Assistance with year-end and audit processes and requirements
- Project accounting
- Supporting the Team Leader
- Liaising with stakeholders throughout the business

Requirements for the Accounts Assistant

- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- A finance or related degree, AAT or Maths A 'level
- Experience in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
