Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance team within the retail industry. This temporary role is based in Maidstone and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial processes.

Description
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Raising sales invoices
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Respond to queries from internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve financial processes and systems.

Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
